About Me

George R. Dougherty is an actor, improviser, and producer. George performs in shows and commercials mostly in the Chicagoland area, but his work has also taken him out of the country to the Edinburgh Fringe Festival.

George grew up in Philidelphia, PA working odd jobs in pet stores, print shops, and tennis clubs. He attended Swarthmore College where he studied Economics and played basketball and lacrosse. He later graduated from the University of Northwestern with a JD in law. George practiced corporate litigation law before starting his acting career.
